We’re hiring a group reformer teacher

About us
We’re a business driven by our purpose: to provide an exercise and movement environment for people to feel strong and capable as they age. We offer small group reformer classes and personalised studio sessions: through these small class structures we create connections with our clients that enrich their lives, and allow them to feel seen and supported, while building a resilient body fit for purpose.

Your boss
Rachael is committed to cultivating a workplace where employees grow and learn, and feel aligned to the work they are doing. Through good pay, recognition of work well done, continuous monthly training, free classes and breezy processes- we strive for a workplace of transparency and belonging.

Our business values
~ We reject diet culture and the unreasonable expectations set within the fitness industry generally. We place value on how the body feels and functions, rather than how it looks.
~ We are conscious of our environmental footprint, and aim to tread lightly on the planet.
~ We acknowledge that we work on the unceded traditional lands of the Gadigal & Wangal peoples, and pay respect to all elders across the Aboriginal nations, but especially those of the Eora nation for having us here and operating on Country.

We’re looking for..
A reformer teacher who get’s a kick out of working with smaller groups, who enjoys getting to know clients and assisting them with their individual bodily quirks, and generally ensuring everyone feels good while moving their body in our space.
New graduates will absolutely be considered if their teaching ethos and personal values align with the studio.

Our group reformer classes run with a maximum of 6 clients and with low turnover so there’s the opportunity to really get to know the clients, what drives them to do Pilates and to get to know their bodies and restrictions. You’ll have access to class planning templates- allowing for a defined level of service across the schedule. Classes are 50 minutes long, but pay is for the full 60 minutes as you’ll be responsible for the time between classes.
